THE IMMEASURABLE LOVE OF CHRIST

A love that already existed even before the world began. A love that was manifested and shown in the life of Adam and Eve. A love even after Adam and Eve sinned against him, he removed them from the garden of Eden, but was still with them.

A love that was manifested in the life of Abraham even after Abraham sinned against God by committing adultery with Hagar out of ignorance,yet he fulfilled his promise 25 years later,and still made him the father of all nations and still blessed him.

A love that was shown in the life of Noah in that he found favor in the sight of GOD and was saved from the impending destruction of the world.

A love that continued in the life of David even when David committed adultery with another man’s wife was shown mercy when he pleaded for forgiveness with a broken and contrite heart.the LORD did not despise him but showed him mercy and continued his relationship with him.

A love that was shown in the life of Samson even when Samson broke his Nazarite covenant with GOD,exposed the secret of his strength to Delilah,was captured,blinded,mocked and humiliated,and while his hair grew back, he cried unto the LORD,the LORD answered him and he still fulfilled his destiny.

A love that was manifested in the life of peter,when CHRIST called him,he followed CHRIST,but was later tempted and he denied his master three times even before a small servant girl,yet he prayed and asked for forgiveness with a broken and contrite heart,the LORD forgave him and the LORD recommissioned him,what a remarkable love!.

A unique,unfailing and limitless love that was manifested in the life of Paul:when this serial and brutal hunter of the Christian church,who persecuted Christians relentlessly,met this LOVE on his way to Damascus and he could not behold his presence,but was blinded for three days, was converted and his name was changed from Saul to Paul and he worked vigorously in the vineyard of the LORD.

A love even while we were yet sinners,he left the glory he shared with the FATHER in heaven,came down on earth,took the form of flesh,became sin for us,was crucified on the cross of Calvary,obtained salvation for us, and yet still calls us to share in his inheritance.

O humans,how unfaithful have we been to him who has called us to repentance,who purchased us with his blood,yet he is long-suffering not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance,what a faithful GOD.

Ever loving,ever gracious,ever merciful,ever faithful even when we are unfaithful,he never leaves us,unless we grieve him by our continuous and deliberate sinning.if today,you have not submitted your life to CHRIST,he is still waiting to hear your voice of repentance and total submission to him.go to a quiet place,ask for his forgiveness with a broken and contrite heart,he will hear you,he will forgive you,he will restore you.peace be unto you.
