HOW TO IMPROVE YOUR MEMORY

Do you keep your phone in a certain place and when  you leave, all of sudden you forgot where you kept your phone or do you forget the name of the person you just met?well, its all part of memory loss.it is normal.but if memory loss is persistent, you need to see a doctor.

Well,in my article here, you are going to learn the 3 types of memory one can have and how you can improve your memory.

An infant is born with billions of brain cells.with age, some of these brain cells die and are not replaced.
As we grow older, our bodies also produce less of the chemicals that our brain cells need to work.although short term and long term memory aren’t usually affected, recent memory can deteriorate with age.
Three types of memory.

1.short term memory:this is your temporary memory, you may look up a number in the phone-book,but after you dial the number, you forget it.once you have finished using the information it vanishes.

2.recent memory:this is  memory that preserves the recent past like what you ate for dinner today or where you went to yesterday.

3.long term memory:this is  memory that preserves the distant past such your childhood experiences.

How to improve your memory.
1.try not to worry: :fretting about memory loss can make it worse.

2.write lists: keep track of important tasks and appointments.for example:pay your bills on a certain day of each month.

3.exercise your mental muscles:most at times,we spend our time on watching movies, try using it to train your mental muscles by play games that challenge your mental ability such as word games, four pics one word or other activities.

4.practice:when you walk into a room, make a mental inventory of people you recognize.when you meet someone, repeat his or her name in conversations.

5.make association: when driving, look for landmarks to associate with your route and name them out loud to imprint them on your memory.example “turn right across that frost bite restaurant to get to James house.
